P4C: Developing Thinking capabilities

P4C helps to improve educational, career, personal & social skills of the students. P4C builds on the students' own wonder and curiosity about ideas that are vitally important to them. Philosophy for Children is often described as a thinking skills program or a course in critical and creative thinking.

Philosophy for children improves critical, creative and rigorous thinking. Participants develop their higher order thinking skills and the attitudes and dispositions necessary for good thinking. They improve their communication skills and their abilities to work with others. P4C will be benefited to student as well as school personnel, parents and the community at large. Applying P4C in the regular schedule of the academics of the students develops almost 20 cognitive skills and 10 co-operative skills.

How skills and competency developed?

Participants learn that their ideas have value, and that the ideas of other Participants have value too. It is basically enquiry learning. Through P4C Participants realize that they don't always have to be right, but they gain the confidence to ask questions and learn through discussion.

  • Modus operandi: (20 weeks session, one hour every week).
  • One team consist 20 candidates/participants & will be mentored by our certified Facilitator for 20 weeks
